Doctor Portu, Melissa McNeil NP, and his entire staff are extremely knowledgeable, kind, and responsive. I understand that some folks, who may typically be older, might not be using the online patient communication portal called Klara. Not once have I sent an inquiry to the office via Klara and not received a response the very same day! I would recommend this practice, as here in Naples we lack good primary care practices, but I don’t want too many people to know!
I love Dr Portu. He is a wonderful, caring doctor. My husband loved him too, same as my adult daughter. It’s nice to have a doctor that will listen and not push things on you. He truly cares about his patients and never rushes you out the door.
Dr. Carlos Portu is a caring and very competent doctor who listens and responds to your medical concerns. He will do his best to assist you in urgent situations and he and his staff will respond quickly to your requests. Dr. Portu is connected to a network of specialists and will refer you to them when necessary. You will not be rushed on your visit, and you will leave the office feeling confident about the outcome. I highly recommend Dr. Portu.
Dr Portu is a very good caring doctor. He will sit with you talking and listening no matter how long it takes. He is our physician for 7 years now. I also give the staff 5 stars.
Wonderful Doctor is the most caring I have found down there . I am also from NYC and I wait a long time here sometimes too. The reason most people wait at a doctor’s office is simple. There is a patient that requires more help than anticipated or has an urgent need. So, let’s call this what it is a caring Doctor that does a great job. I am thrilled by how he treats my Mother.

I’m changing my review to 5 stars because the office took note of my frustration and explained the best way to use the system and how to get through if something is going on that needs immediate attention. As stated before, I think the people and providers here are great. No complaints about anything other than the communication, which I understand better now.
