We know you’re concerned about COVID-19, we are too. In these uncertain times, the staff at Shoreline Physician Group (SPG) wants to assure you we are taking an aggressive stance to reduce exposure. Governor DeSantis’s stay-at-home order excludes healthcare facilities, however for the time being, it is necessary to make some modifications. SPG’s commitment to caring for our patients remains paramount and to continue that care, we have established the following policies for protecting the health of our patients, staff, and families.
Per CDC guidelines – “Standard Precautions assume that every person is potentially infected or colonized.” Please understand that the health and well-being of YOU, our patient, remains our priority. These temporarily uncomfortable adjustments are for the protection of you, our staff, and the community.
Effective Immediately:
Annual Physicals and Wellness Exams – All upcoming Annual Physicals will be rescheduled. Staff will contact you to make a new appointment about 8 weeks after the original. To allow the Annual Physical to be pushed to a later date and ensure our patients’ continued care, the provider will complete a Telehealth Consultation at the originally scheduled appointment date and time to address any lab results, medication refills, concerns, etc needed in the interim.
Routine Follow-up Visits – These visits will continue as previously scheduled; however, they will be converted to Telehealth Consultations. Staff will follow-up with directions for connecting on the day of your visit.
INR/Coumadin Checks and Shots (B-12, Prolia, Allergy, Vaccines, etc) - All visits will be performed on a drive thru basis. Upon arrival at a scheduled visit please remain in your car. Call (239) 235-7908 and inform staff of your arrival. The nurse will be down shortly to perform the administration. Please wear a mask or cover your nose and mouth (by using a scarf, tissue, shirt etc) during contact with Staff.
Lab Draws – Scheduling modifications have been made to eliminate the lobby/ waiting area. Please limit guests to only necessary persons. At your appointment time please come to the office wearing a mask and wait at the window. A staff member will take you directly to the draw station. After your blood draw is complete you are DONE. Please DO NOT stop at checkout. Our staff will contact you via telephone for any further arrangements.
Walk-In Visits – There will be NO Walk-In Patients seen in the office. All visits are being completed via Telehealth. If you need to be seen immediately please contact us via one of the methods below:
1. Call the office (239) 235-7908
